Taurasity is a bullheaded passion for creativity. Founded in 2024, Taurasity Creative is my surface pattern design business focusing on whimsical, joyful, and meaningful patterns.
If you have explored my other portfolio projects, you will have seen the sparks of this journey started back in the mid-90s as a kid who enjoyed drawing patterns with Crayola markers on grid paper. It wasn’t until college, while in the Communication Art and Design program at the University of Louisville, when my professor first explained the grid system behind graphic design that I realized grids have always been something I enjoy. But it wasn’t until far after college and buying an iPad that the journey really started and the concept of creating patterns became a joy and a dream.
Below are a selection of my patterns. Most recently I have started to explore flowers and the language behind them.
