365 LYRIC A DAY PROJECT

For 365 days, I created a design a day using song lyrics that inspired me. Some days the design was extremely easy to create; I would hear a song and instantly have an image come to my mind. Some days the design was a labor of pure determination as I struggled to find a song that spoke to me. Posting the project on Tumblr was also a new and neat experience, as I got instantaneous feedback from people who found my page. If viewers like the design, it got reposted. If they didn’t, the post would be stagnant. This project helped me strengthen my design instincts and also get a better understanding of design trends in pop culture at the time.
